Vibration Sensor SW-420 Module

The SW-420 Vibration Sensor Module is a cost-effective sensor used to detect vibrations and shocks in its environment. It consists of an SW-420 vibration sensor, an LM393 comparator, and a 10K potentiometer to adjust sensitivity.

How It Works

The SW-420 sensor detects vibrations and sends a signal to the LM393 comparator, which then outputs a digital HIGH or LOW signal depending on the vibration intensity. The sensitivity can be adjusted using the potentiometer.

Interfacing with Arduino

The module can be easily connected to an Arduino or other microcontrollers. It has three pins:

• VCC: Power supply (3.3V–5V)

• GND: Ground connection

• D0: Digital output (HIGH when vibration is detected, LOW otherwise)
